G7 heads of parliaments visit

This year's G7 meeting of parliament's presidents was held in Brest, where a visit of Ifremer was organised.

The delegation discovered various research themes around ocean sciences, including a zoom on ocean observation techniques in the context of global climate change. This section of the visit was prepared in collaboration by Ifremer, JCOMMOPS and Euro-Argo ERIC. Guillaume Maze (Ifremer/LOPS) delivered key messages on the importance of ocean observations and the need to sustain the new Argo vision for a "Global, Full-Depth and Multidisciplinary Array".
